內急之事，廁不容緩。廁在咫尺是一份台灣公共廁所地圖， 資料來自政府開放資料。 這一頁說明資料是哪裡來的、更新到什麼時候、每一種標示代表什麼， 以及你的位置資料會怎麼被處理。

這個網站用的是快照，不是即時連線。上表的日期就是資料被抓下來的那一天， 在那之後政府端的異動不會自動反映。中油資料另有一點要說明：本資料集不含廁所欄位；廁所狀態一律視為未確認。
每一種標示代表什麼
這個網站最重要的一條規則是：官方登記的資料和使用者回報，在視覺上必須分得出來。 急著找廁所的時候，你需要知道眼前這筆是「政府登記在案」還是「有人說有」。

隱私
- 你的位置不會離開瀏覽器。定位是瀏覽器算出來的，只用來排序清單和移動地圖，不會送到我們的伺服器，也不會送給第三方。
- 這個網站不使用任何瀏覽器儲存。沒有 localStorage、沒有 cookie、沒有 IndexedDB。關掉分頁，這一次的狀態就消失了。想保留清單請用設定裡的「匯出快照」。
- 群眾回報不含任何個人識別。送出的欄位只有：座標、店名、分類、有沒有廁所、時間。沒有 IP、沒有 User-Agent、沒有使用者 ID、沒有裝置指紋。防止洗資料所需的計數器放在完全分離的另一張表，用每日更換的加鹽雜湊，兩張表無法互相對照。
- 我們自己只記錄一種事件。在地點頁點「導航」時，記錄「哪一頁的第幾順位被點了」，不記錄是誰點的、不記錄捲動深度或停留時間。
- 另有一項第三方量測，我們據實說明。本站部署在 Cloudflare，其 Web Analytics 目前為啟用狀態，會自動在每個頁面注入一段量測程式，蒐集瀏覽量、來源網址、國家與裝置類型等彙總資訊。依 Cloudflare 說明，它不使用 cookie、也不做跨站追蹤。這不是我們主動加入的程式碼，但它確實存在，所以寫在這裡。
發現資料有錯怎麼辦
三種情況，處理方式不一樣：
- 官方公廁的資料有誤（名稱、地址、無障礙標示錯了，或這間廁所已經不存在）—— 這些欄位我們原封不動採用環境部的登記，自己改會讓資料與官方不一致。 請向環境部環境資料開放平臺反映， 更正後會在下一次快照更新時一併帶進來。
- 店家其實沒有廁所（或其實有）—— 直接在 App 的店家卡片上回報。累積足夠的票數之後，其他人就會看到。 這是最快也最有效的更正管道，因為它不必等任何人處理。
- 中油加油站標示成有廁所—— 我們沒有這樣標示。中油的開放資料裡沒有廁所欄位，所以狀態一律是未確認。 如果你看到別的說法，那是誤讀，請告訴我們。
- 以上三種都不是—— 網站本身的問題、隱私疑慮、資料授權、合作洽談，寄到 qai.joetsou@gmail.com。這是一個人維護的專案， 回覆可能不會很快，但每一封都會看。
About this site
Toilet Finder is a map of public toilets in Taiwan, built from Taiwanese government open data. This page explains where the data comes from, how current it is, what each label means, and how your location is handled.

Both are used under Taiwan's Open Government Data License. This site serves a snapshot, not a live feed — changes made upstream after the dates above are not reflected until the snapshot is regenerated. The CPC dataset contains no toilet field, so petrol stations are always marked unconfirmed; we never claim one has a toilet.
What the labels mean
The rule this site is built on: officially registered data and user reports must be visually distinguishable. When you urgently need a toilet, you need to know whether what you are looking at is a government record or somebody's word. Solid badges are official records. Dashed outlines are user reports, and always show a vote count. Plain outlines are guesses based on venue type, and say so in words.
Privacy
- Your location never leaves your browser. It is used only to sort the list and move the map. It is not sent to our servers or to any third party.
- This site uses no browser storage at all — no localStorage, no cookies, no IndexedDB. Close the tab and the session is gone.
- User reports carry no personal identifiers. A report contains only coordinates, venue name, category, whether there is a toilet, and a timestamp. No IP address, no user agent, no user ID, no device fingerprint.
- We record one event only. When you tap “Navigate” on a location page we record which page and which rank was tapped — not who tapped it.
- One third-party measurement, stated plainly. This site runs on Cloudflare, whose Web Analytics is currently enabled and injects a measurement script into every page, collecting aggregate page views, referrers, country and device type. Cloudflare states it uses no cookies and does no cross-site tracking. We did not add this code ourselves, but it is there, so it is documented here.
Reporting an error
Errors in the official toilet records (name, address, accessibility) are best reported to the Ministry of Environment open data platform; we reproduce their records verbatim and corrections flow through on the next snapshot. For a shop that does or does not have a toilet, report it directly on the shop card in the app — that is the fastest route, since it needs nobody's approval.
